Limiting store to a few products Post By Tom - 20/8/2010 13:02:18
Has anyone limited their store product offering to say a few handfuls rather than the vast options we have today.

If so, can you reply with how to do this?

I am confused by your question. You can easily have a store just selling mugs, or even just one item if you like. I am sure you mean something different though. Please explain so we can help you better.

Cheers,
Rowan

Hi Tom,

If you are asking if you only have to offer a few of the products instead of everyone of them, the anwer is yes.

You have the choice as to what products to offer. If you only want to offer mugs from your store, then just click on the mugs in the add product list.

You decide on what you want to sell in your store. You do not have to list products you don't want to sell.

If you have a VIP store, then the only exception would be in the Design It Yourself section. We have no control on the products listed in there. Just about everything AN offers is listed in there.

Hope this helps.

Fred

Thanks Guys for your feedback. I was actually speaking to the do it yourself section. I want to limit it only to say mugs for example. Have any of you actually limited what items they customer create? Thats what I am looking to do.

hi Tom,

You can learn from one of our VIP store:

http://www.photoplayingcard.com

This link can help you.

http://www.photoplayingcard.com/personalized/playing-cards

It seems can only work with create your own, it can't work with the designs you have made.

Thanks.

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately we (storekeepers) cannot decide what products to offer in the design it yourself section. This is setup with the software at AN and currently, all products (or most of them) are being offered.
